Combining sculpted copper and thick plate glass, these entry panels evoke the river and mountain landscape of the views from this penthouse in south central British Columbia.

By heat treating the copper sheeting, the reeds have a wide range of colour, indicative of the fall changes to river reeds. The 19mm (3/4") thick chipped and carved glass panels take advantage of the halogen lighting to bring out a dramatic effect from the chipped and polished glass edges.
