These garden sculptures reflect my interest in science, mythology, history and the intersection of the past, present and future aspirations of our culture. Using a variety of materials and techniques from our industrial and post-industrial world, I hope to evoke the mysterious feeling of anthropologists exploring evidence of past civilizations, scientists assembling our present culture and the path our collective dreams and fears shape our future.

 

Incorporating cast stone, glass and metals with carving, laminating, etching and engraving, a wide range of effects are achieved. Internal electric lighting highlights the translucence of the glass and allows the sculptures to be appreciated year round, both night and day.
